I think they are made by a company called FMS or something, FORD/MAZDA/s**t? FMS, FMZ or something like that .

I can tell you all now, that aint from an EL. EL Units dont come with the up/down buttons on the side there. Rather, they have a knob and the screen on an EL unit illuminates that orangy, Red colour. No way its from an EL. I would say Laser as well.

good chance it would be the same as a 323 anyway. since they are the same as a laser.
take the pic to a ford dealer and ask them to look up a Kn laser radio and see if its the same.
thatts if you care that much anyway

It is damn well available from a KN Laser (Mazda323) and Festiva!!! I have owned a Laser (but the face lit up green) and my ex g/f's had a Festiva and Mazda.

Double din is a stereo that takes up two pockets in the dash. Most cars have a stereo that has one face/head unit, and a storage compartment under it, like in the EA to EL Falcons, for sunglasses/tissues and so on.

Upper luxury model cars like LTDs and Fairmont Ghias (EF to EL) have got a stereo that takes up the space where the storage compartment goes.

The stereo part above is for radio and tape controls, and the stereo part below is for the CD changer controls and the DSP - digital sound processor.

I hope this helps out
