Hey guys just wondering what sort of depth you have on your front speakers in your EF/EL as I have got some 6.5 inch splits on layby but I'm not sure if they will fit as they are about 67mm deep.

I don't want to have to make door pods as I want it to look factory but I don't mind having to make up spacers as long as they don't hit the door skins when I turn them up.

Any idea if they will fit?

That's pretty thick. Most I've seen are between 45-55mm deep. I've got 54mm deep 6" coaxials in my doors, they fit fine.

How much did they miss the window by? If it was by a decent amount I might get away with it with a spacer as well. I'm gonna be real p****d if they don't fit.

I am not sure if they'll fit. I have next to no clearance between the speaker and the window. I don't have any spacers or anything to push the speaker out. The mounting depth ffor them is 62.9mm. they are Fusion FPC-65 6.5" splits

If those focals fit hopefully I can make these fit with a 5mm spacer. I will just have to take off the doorskins on the weekend and measure it up.
