that's a bit of a mixture of songs. RnB sounds well with 12", dance with a 10" and i guess metal is good with anything?

I have 2 x 10" and they work well for Doof Doof...but somehow hit the low notes very well in some RnB songs.

Just depends on what you listen to MOST of the time.

Probably 12, although 10 would be fine. I wouldnt go 15in.

go for a 12". I had a 10 for a while and it didnt seem to cut the mustard so to speak. the 12 produces more bass and gets a good low down deep drone on big bass notes compared to the 10 i had.

Brand wise... Alpine, MTX, Cadence, Kicker are all good brands but you need to get a decent amp that makes decent power to get good sound from any sub.

Ive got a Pioneer Sub. Its not fantastic but it was cheap and does the job for now.

alpine type r subs are nice for the price, a good all rounder...earthquake subs are also pretty good and depending where you get them from not overly expensive

heard a pair of focal 11in (i think) subs the other day, and they went off...if you can afford them (i think they were in the upper price range) i would defs recommend them.

Go listen to subs though, ears are better than recommendations :D

extreme rattling...face it forward or backward. I have found that facing the subs into the cabin sounds better.

every one i know including pro installeres like to face the subs firing into the boot for a better sound but then it depends on the parson and the style music they like. 12 inch will be a good choice ya just have to decide if ya want a sealed or ported box porter rumbles more sealed is more of a punch. ya dont need to spend masive amounts on subs i have a few friends realy happy with the jaycar subs they good value for $$$ and they sell corect sized box there to for them

Well my subs are free air :P pretty much have no choice hahaha. I don't think everyone can notice the difference if it is facing forward or backwards.

RF are really inefficient. I think theyre rated in mid 80s mostly.
Many other subs are much better for a lesser price.

Go for a 12", 10"s really arent worth it in a Falcon.

I think its that RF actually rate their subs at wat they can do realisticly,
Most other brands rate there subs n amps a bit higher than wat they can actually do
I heard RF underrates them slightly

most good brands underrate their stuff...Rockford Fosgate are really good but i agree that unless you really want that gear you can do better for less $$$

RF underates there amps a bit.
Have a look at the efficiency ratings of them compared to others if you dont believe me.
Mid 80s for nearly all of them.
Focal top 100.
My 15" Clarion has a sensitivity of 93db.

RF are more about show then go with there subs.
