Thoroughly stock apart from a Clarion mp3 HU because the tape deck was a bit too neanderthal.

I,ve worked in the Car Audio industry for the last 20 years and i,ve seen alot of changes.I can remember fitting u/dash cassettes to lasers which hooked to the factory AM/FM radio's!
Eclipse are bringing out a new D/Din screen with 2 CD Drives (one for CD and the other for Navigation, all in one unit!
I went to the JVC launch last night and they have some amazing new units.
The higher level units have USB inputs on the face so you can plug in your USB memory stick and have up to 4GB of music.
Things are only going to get better in car audio!!

Cheers,
Dave.

Mined, but I'll play along :D
(All pioneer, with a 2 exceptions)
DEH-P8650MP
TS-C160R Front Splits
TS-E1695 Rear 3 Ways
GM-6100F 4 Channel Amp
and ATM low end frequency duties are by a Sony 12" sub and Coustic 2 Channel amp.
Only cause I got it cheap/free!
Upgrade it soon to either a JL 12" or Pioneer 12", driven by a yet-to-be decided Monoblock.
My boot is a mess too, I will refuse to open it at the AFD!

Holy s**t who went thread mining? I've got one of the first posts on here and now i've changed cars and systems!

Soon to go into the BA
H/U: JVC KD-AVX1 - DVD Unit operating thru factory premium sound TFT display
Fronts: Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1 Splits
Front Amp: JVC 2 x 150WRMS
Rears: (undecided, prolly infinity)
Rear Amp: Pioneer GM-X742 2 x 80WRMS
Subs: 2 x Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1 400WRMS
Sub Amp: Alpine MRD-M1001 1 x 1200WRMS @ 2ohm
Wiring: Stinger 0awg

There will probably be a capacitor of some sort, all custom install awaiting funds! All the gear is sitting around me, begging to be put in the car!

Mostly Sony gear as I got it all at sweet sweet prices...

1x Sony CDX-V7800X MP3/CD/VCD/SVCD/FM HU 4x50W, powers rears
1x Sony XM754SX 4x170W amp, powers fronts and subs
2x Cadence 10" subs (used to be Sony 10" but they both died mysteriously just out of warranty) in Sony sealed boxes
4x Sony 6" 3-way coaxials, front and rear in existing door/rear parcel shelf mounting positions.

Done some upgrading...

Now have a Response 4x130 (the popular 4x100 has been refined, box still says 4x100 but spec sheet has been updated) powering the fronts and rears, and a Response 1x1000 powering the subs.

Needs to be properly retuned (I spent about 10 mins on it after installing), but I've been to busy, and it's not sounding bad - just not as good as it should be).

Hoping to someday build custom boxes in the rear corners of the boot for the subs.
