heh, mine's just the stock EF "Mid Series" sound system to which I added an Alpine CHA-S634 CD/MP3 stacker. The dual bus capability of the '634 gives me an upgrade path to a more advanced Alpine head unit in the future if I so wish but given the current generation Alpines are fairly expensive and butt-ugly (all that silver on a dark grey dash, YUCK!) the stock H/U is probably going to stay there for a long while.

Just a Pioneer head unit for the moment.. Use to have 2x12"s then sold them thinking I was going to get a bigger and better system. Started off by buying some Audison amps but now all my $$$ is into the engine when I can afford it. :P

All Clarion:

Head unit
6.5 inch front splits
5 inch rear splits
2 amps
2 12inch subs

The only non clarion parts are the ps and the screen. Sounds wicked, with plenty of low bass. Best feature of the headunit ive found is the adjustable sub output, meaning if I want heaps of bass, its there, or I can dull it down :) Its all topped off with a custom boot install which gives me around 70% of the boot left to use, but still good access to the spare and jack etc.

Headunit - Pioneer DEH-P7450MP

Front - stock (including factory tweeters for some reason!)

Rear - stock

Sounds great I reckon! Sure, not good enough for sound comps, but plenty for me (especially with those tweeters that we discovered the other day!)! I haven't even been able to turn the volume up to the point of distortion yet - it was hurting my ears it was so loud!

The only thing I might change eventually is put some 6x9s in the rear, instead of subs. But that's if I can be bothered. Or have the money. hehe
