Im still running the Premium System in mine i think its FMS Audio (Figitsu Mitsubishi Samsung) aparently usin alpine technology. The speakers are all still original as well as the stacker and Amp. I also have a Alpine V12 amp and Clarion Sub in it, its still an awsome sounding system.
I've never realy liked Pioneer i've seen some of my mates pioneer systems and i've been dissapointed. I baught a set of Pioneer speakers a few months ago and thats when i made the call that i will never Buy Pioneer Again. Pioneer Was Good... About 10 Years ago. Now i recon they just lost their quality and focus on their flashysess rather them sound quality.

i like the pioneer HU, very reliable. ive got one and i know a few people with them and havent had any problems whatsoever.

speakers - havent been through many but ive used jaycar on a couple of occasions and they are excellent value for money. pioneer arnt bad either.

recently bought these $5 supertweeters(ex hyundai tock,40wrms,mylar dome, inbuilt x-over) from jaycar and was stunned at how good they sound. i highly recommend them, cost near to nothing and sound awesome

Check my sig for my gear, im a Kenwood boy thru and thru, love them to death, But i do like other brands esp pioneer and the old R type series alpine and the older V12 amps (pre D class). Clarion subs are good and some JL stuff, dont think i would trust anything else...

i actually love the d class amp, probably the best amp ive seen to run subs, made it real easy to set up my subs the way i wanted

There are heaps of great brands... but I have pretty much now settled with all Pioneer speakers and all alpine amplifiers, as Ken-Mav mentioned above.... pre- D Class as I have found the D-class amps not to be as reliable in terms of Consistant Power Output.

I have Pioneer Deck, Pioneer DVD player, 2 x Pioneer CDRB20's, 2x Pioneer fronts, Pioneer rears, and 4 x Pioneer 12' Subs.

and 4 x alpine amps to drive them.

They do look classy, cannot deny it, but the unregulated power supply means bad output at low voltage. I have a good mate running 2 clarion 15" subs in the boot of a festiva each running of there own M501 D-class, s**t load of power, nice to power subs but aint good at low voltages in terms of output

maybe cuz i'm running 12"s at 14v i don't notice, considering it hits some wicked low notes

um, its pretty hard to maintain 14v in a big system unless you have a few more optima's than i thought.
