Ok this may sound like a dumb question, but bare with me...

In the higher range stereo models, i have noticed they all seem to have no disc slot, like the lower range ones... so my question is, how do you put the disc in? is the slot behind the detachable face? or are these units simply only for use with a cd changer...

im not very knowledgable on car audio, obviously haha...and i havnt had a chance to go down to autobarn or anything similar to check this out

The face itself flips down, and the cd slides on from behind! Either that, or some of the pioneer decks the front sort of slides down and out at the bottom so that it looks like its a double din player.

most of them flip down and the cd slot is behind the face. I think its just to save space on the face.

Yep, just to get a larger screen in and have it less cluttered!
