i will have DEH-5650mp H/U and this amp

http://www.pioneeraus.com.au/car_entert ... index.html

i will be running 2x 120 (for splits) and 300(for sub) and cadence zx651 on the parcel shelf powered by h/u

im leaning towards pioneer cos it will match my system apart from sub and rear speakers... or do the infinities sound better?

anyway i mainly want quality, not matching :p

I was looking at the Infinty 6000CS ones, they were about $250 at hi-fi supermarket sounded fairly good and apparently fit no worries into falcons. The Kappa series are even better but a lot more expensive. I also had a look at the JL 6.5" split in same price range and sounded about the same.

Not too sure about the pioneers though.

Do those prices including shipping, import tax or whatever as well? I remember looking a while back at those ebay audio staores it was $199 for the speakers but when i looked into it further it was $60 shipping as well. So it would of cost $260 to get them or i could have just bought them from JB hi-fi for $250 and have a proper warranty, get them straight away etc......

If u come across em, i got some Kicker KS6.2 (2 way, 6" split).

Powered off headunit, they were gutless but off an amp they're great :)

I think whatever you get you should be happy with it? unless you're really really pushing em hehe

I'm running those pioneer splits and they sound really good if they're amped. I'd definatley recommend them although the infinitys are good also. The yellow cones have won a few awards.

Either way, they're both good brands and you won't go very wrong.

Oh, by the way, they fit fine without spacers in the front doors.

I found the INfinity Kappa to be a nice sounding speaker.
That amp will deliver 65rms which is fine for those splits.

I would be listening to Hertz splits in that price range they get very good reviews and i was quite impressed.

The have2 sets one is $199 the other $329 but they can be gotten cheaper maybe just under $300.
