Hey guys i currently have 2xTS-W300S 12" pioneer subs on a 2OHM load from my pioneer gm7200 im ust wondering if i would get a lot of benefit in switching to these two TS-W254C 10's i have sittin here.

the 12"s are 150rms and the 10's are 250rms heres some info on them both,

nar ill lose 4 inches of subs lol, i have the 12's in already, the 10's are just sittin in my room lol

twin 12s is too much bass if you ask me, just put the 10s in and see how they go, u can always switch back

nar i like my bass lol, only problem is i dont have a box for the 10's so i woul dhave to make one up and do a custom boot install if i went that route, so i'll only do that if it's considerably worth it lol

Dude going the 10"s your gonna get a higher power thus volume output providing you can power them properly...

again depending on the gear even 2x 15"s doesnt have to be overkill....I run 4x 12" woofers in an SQL install and its very tight nice clean punchy bass. What you will loose is the ability to produce the lower end frequencies that your 12"s are providing but with that gear in both choices I dont think your really caring bout that sorta stuff...

So i'd leave it with you..but i d probably go the 2x 10"s

They're both low end models, so the main difference as Big Kev said is that you'll lose low frequency output and probably lower overall output too, so the 10's will be quieter.

If you want your 12's to sound more like 10's put some blocks of wood in your current sub box to reduce the volume of it and see how it sounds different. You can always take the blocks of wood out if you don't like the sound.
