I just wanted to ask if these pioneer splits would fit into the front door of my EL GLi Falcon 98` without cutting or anything

Not only that, the basket may be too big. Never fitted these before but I have some experience with the TS-D splits.
Personally I would get the Bostons or Sound Stream from the 6" splits around that price. Also DD make some good splits that are have a really good rep for their price. |

(becuase they have the same mesaurements as the TS-A) ...for reference these coaxials fit into my el perfect http://www.pioneer.com.au/Products/Car% ... 1683S.aspx |

Even with a 3mm spacer it was hitting the speaker grill. It also wasnt enough to stop the basket hitting the metal. The depth was fine but I am going to have to make some baffleboards for the bottom of the door where the map pockets are. I have the TS-D co-axial's and the fit great, sound the goods too. But the splits have a bigger cone area. |

I had them in my el, to make them fit I just got some snips and cut the whole in the door slightly bigger, as using spacers made them hit the door trim.
