hi guys haven't been on in a while.

Anyway on thursday i made a subwoofer box for the car. much bettter bass now. its 1.78 cubic feet for one 12inch. anyway then on friday i bought an eclipse amp for the sub cos the pioneer one just wasn't doing it. so now i have the pioneer running all the speakers in the car. then i was going to take the rca signal out of the pioneer as it has an output jack. hooked it all up, broke my back running all the cabling and it didn't work. i then worked out that the pioneer amp rca output was not working. i took it to pioneer and they said five to ten days. that means for that time i have no radio as the speakers are running off the pioneer amplifier.

thats an update of my stuff. i'll post some pics cause my dad helped me mount the amp i i think where we put it completes the boot.

cheers

Don't laugh, it's not as crazy as it sounds. I had a sick sub bro in my car...hehe.. anyway i had a really good soundsystem.. and i blew all my speakers.. i had a very good amp too, lol.. so anyway before i obtained more speakers i was driving around with just the sub pumping.... it's funny how you learn whole albums just by the doof doof.... crazy stuff. Now whenever a car drives by with the subs going, i can usually tell what song it is. :D

lolz had similar experiances i was running around for weeks just listening to bass

i had the same problem when i blew my v12, lost it for a week till they repaired it in the US, since nobody here will fix it under warranty, cept my v12 runs my subs so it was crappy standard speakers for a week, music was so quiet that week

Exactly, and they will more than likely try and say you overpowered them even if you are not to blame..
Its not that easy to get speakers replaced under warrenty while claiming they wrentpushed beyond their publically published recomended power/usage limits. :?

guess what now. i rang pioneer today and after 10 working days in which it should have been returned, the amp is still stuffing up for them. the say it will be ready on tuesday now. i am just unsure now how serious the problem was if they can't fix it.
