hi just wondering if there was anyone out there who has actually changed a head unit in an xc falcon, any help wud be greatly appreciated cos atm we are mm shy of ripping the entire dash out

hehe i did it 2day, took me 7 hrs tho, first time i have ever done one in an x series, and it will be my last time, god damn thing was worse then a dog on heat humping ur leg constantly. my car takes 5 mins tops to do. But yea u gotta rip all panels out of dash, remove the entire speedo setup n s**t, then take out surrounds just to get at the screws for the center..... not my cup of tea thankyou. but on the positive side, we crackd the dash in one small inconspicuous spot, left out a ground cable, have 3 extra screws, and my mate broke his headlight switch, but we did manage to get the new head unit in, which of course was of the highest priority, so with lots of coke, pancakes, and patients (read 'lack of') we managed to complete this
