The only 17" tickford rims (apart from el gts) come from the au's. The EL xr6/8 rims were 16"s

if your talking bout EL XR rims, AFAIK they only come in 16s. but you can get copies though, similar to what is on Ambers car in 17s

ANZ Wheels make the copies in both 16 and 17 inch, in both the normal finish and a chrome finish.

I have been told that the chrome ones are no longer made and that the 17 inch version are hard to come by though.

www.anzwheels.com.au , they are listed as EF FTR

Have a look at the pic in my gallery and let us know if those are the rims you are looking for. If they are you are outta luck, AFAIK they only came in 16". My car got the full Tickford kit when new (wheels, suspension, kit)

I've got the EL GTs and they look s**t hot. Really go with the heritage green. What colour is your car?

Yup, I have 17's. Not much difference between the 16 and 17's IMO..

They must be the 16" inch EL XR6 rims that i want. I thought that they came in 17's as well - must be wrong. I agree that the copies look like s**t. Any suggestions where to pick up a good set of 16's that are not to pricey. Being standard rims they shouldnt be to hard to get. Some one asked what colour my car is - white ef xr6.

lol the fact they are standard is what makes them hard to get!

there is/was a guy in the for sale section who was selling a set of those pretty cheap over here in perth - maybe do a quick browse & see what you can find?

edit: http://www.fordmods.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4747 theres the link!

all though our 17's are copies they do look just as good if not better than the factory ones, they dont have the rounded edge on the outer rim and pretty hard to tell any difference in the pattern so to say that they look s**t is wrong. i have heard that they did make factory xr 17's but you would pay a pretty price for them, we paid $650 for them at the wrecker with treed and also was able to fit the ford centres with a little modding.

I don't think getting a stock set will be easy. Everyone that has them wants to keep em, and there are heaps of people looking for them. Just get the copies, that way you can get 17s if thats what you want.

I certainly have no intention of getting rid of mine.

If i can get a set of ELGT's or even EBGT's then i would let mine 16's go, BUT i would have to have the EL's first
