Just wondering how people got 17" wheels on the stock 15" EFs. I got turned down by Bob Jane they said only AMG Quakes will fit EFs in 17s. But I know heaps of people here have 17s on their EFs that arent Quakes. How did you get around it?

What the? 17" wheels on 15"'s?
You undo the 5 nuts holding your 15" wheels on, removing them and then remove the wheel (car obviously jacked up), then place the 17" wheel on, you don't put the 17" on the 15" or anything queer like that!

Is there another Bob jane store any were near you or another decent tyre/wheel store? I'd be heading there if that stores's telling you that Quakes are the only ones avaliable. Yes, the range of wheels for them is small, but there's more than 1!
There's at least 3 different sets still in production and that's just what my local Bob Janes had in stock

You can get heaps of 17" with the right offset to suit EF/El, AU series 2 XR and BA series 2 XR as well as EL GT, and then there are all the others from Speedy, Ozzy etc.

Mine are 17's... range is limited but anything that will suit AU Series 1 and earlier will fit.
