Yeah it is damn hard to top a red EL XR :D Glad I gave you a cause to hold out for one. I don't mind the white ones though, for me when i was looking it had to be white or red. Its kinda good for me to see how yours is turning out with the F6 kit on it, means I get to see exactly what it looks like. I still think if anything ever happened to my bar I would be going F6. Have you got the dark agents yet? I think they will defiantly look the part on a red XR, especially in 20's

Alright so here are the most recent pics. Keep in mind that the lips on the front and back bars and the foggies are getting painted black but its looking great so far. I am starting to run low on cash so the 20" FPV Dark Agents and other mods listed will be something to look forward to later on in the build. Let me know what ur oppinion is on the kit being all red and let me know if i should leave it or paint it black....

Also one mod that i will be removing from my list is the lowering springs, I like my tickford suspention and pulling into the driveway the rear bar already scrapes the ground so without risking it im keeping it a stock height,

Just a few more, I think i made the right decision looking at it now to remove the rubber moulds from the doors and fill the bars to make it more smooth and round, But all opinoins are welcome.

I'd hit it with some black or grey, needs to be broken up.

My first impression was it was too one colour. I love the BA BF Typhoon R-Spec models. I was thinking about painting the lips and foggies the same "slate grey?" colour as the factory R-Specs. I saw a red R-spec with the 19" dark agents. Looked stunning.

Here is an example, Thanks to Google

Not sure if the colour will make my car look as agressive as red on black. Opinions guys... Typhoon R-Spec style or Black on Red???

I think the slate grey will work better than black. The contrast wont be as harsh.

It will be a nice looking car when it's done.

Agree with the other 2 posters, use the grey to break it up a bit

Looking good mate! I think the slate grey would look better too, as you are getting Dark Agent rims, they will match up with the rim colour. Unless the aftermarket ones are darker then the ones that come from factory? In any case you should try and match the inserts with the colour of the rims. thats my opinion anyway. Looks good though!

Car looks good! First time I have personally seen this kit all colour coded on the car (only seen it undercoat stage until now)

Also think (as others have said) that it would look sweet with a darker colour to break it up a bit (like the R Spec). Pretty sure the colour on the R Specs is called "Argent", and the rims are called Dark Argents (not agents ;) )

Sweet car though!
