Im trying to imagine the car with the 20" FPV dark Argent" wheels with colour coded front foggies and lower inserts on the front and back bars. I think everyone is right to say that the black isnt as suttle as the dark argent colour however i also like the look of black on red.

If the front bars were painted in black and color coded the 20" to match??? so black 20" FPV Dark Argent wheels and having the lips on the front and back of the bars and the foggies also black???

I dont know what would look better.

LoL, I'm not having a go at all....just saying :D

For the record, Dark Argents look sweet on red cars (any model), and pretty sure you can actually get them in black off Ebay aswell.....I say go for it 8-)

So when's the typhoon engine conversion? I think you need the engine to match the kit.

Looking good mate.

Hey mate, there is a for sale section of the forums so you are probably best to post in there (if you haven't already done so) as this will give greater visibility to your items

Cheers

Phil

Hay mate, this is a sweet car you've made, and nice build thread too.

Have you seen the SA Dyno Day thread?

Should come along if you can make it.

looks good mate, im not really sure bout the rear bar though, from a side view it doesnt seem to suit the side skirts, however from directly behind the car it looks great.

Cheers guys, The bonnet cost me $750.00 and $250 in shipping. The rear bar does look very out of place from some angles cause the skirts are too small in my oppinion, However i might look into getting some ba xr skirts and fitting them to balance it out a little.

Also got my T5 Short Shifter in the post today and fitted it. Alot better!!! and the shifts are more smooth now aswell. Money Well Spent.

Before: Stock shifter

Image

After: GM Motor sport rip shifter

Also if anyone has any hints on fixing my sunroof please let me know, i cant really splash $2500 on a new one, Not just yet anyway and i need it fixed asap. Cheers. Its a Hollianda 700. Fitted from factory.

I would like to recomend this Phat custom Kit to people who are interested in modifying their ef el xr falcons however having been through the experience i have been through i would hate to suggest to someone getting it and go through exactly the same trouble as me.

Not sure if they are the only ones that make the kit for the EL/EF but I really can't stress enough, DON'T use Phat Custom Kits. I don't think I have seen anyone who can actually say they had even a semi good experience when dealing with them and making their kits fit.

I for one had no end of trouble and would never go near them again
