Hi all Im looking at buying a set of 19 inch advanti volts and was wondering if many have come across any problems with putting 19s on a e series such as rubbing and scraping any info would be great thanks for looking.

should be no problems.. i had 20's with no scrapage and pretty low suspension on my EF Fairmont..

Ok awesome was after info cause I was concerned it would rub and scrape or might of had to roll the guards I see in your pics you had 19s at one stage how did you find them and do you remember what profile tyre you used also the bf xr6 looks really good.

Im running 19"s with no issues. Just make sure u get the correct offset .

Thanks for the replys I spoke to the guys where I'm getting my mags from and there are pre au offset and will fit with no problems they said to use 245 35 r19 how has any one found running with this size tyre I still want a smooth ride still and was wondering what brand tyre would be good to use and how would it drive compare to the stock 205 65 r15 thanks for looking

I would suggest running 235/35 r19 tires. They are closer in total circumference to the standard 15 inch wheels and tiyres so your speedo will remain as close to factory as possible. Only problem is they cost a little more due to not being as common as the 245/35 r19 tyres. If you shop around you can get them for under $200 a tyre new which is pretty good for 19's. I was personally running the 235/35r19 nangkang ns2 tyre on me EL sedan with ultra low springs and I had no rubbing issues with the tyres

Ok awesome thanks for that how did you find it on the road compared to the stock wheels is it a smooth drive still or do you feel all the bumps on the road as I will be doing trips up and the mount tambourine thanks for the info guys
