Depends on how much you want to spend, and how much your willing to roll guards. I'm looking at -24 17x9.5" fronts, and 0 17x11.5" rears!

What fits a boxcar SHOULD work on an EF. the size of the tyre is the biggest issue, along with offset.

thrue but 20's are different to 17's they have a biger rolling diameter for 1..

am trying to find out if 20x 8.5 wheels will foul the fronts with rolled guards

What offset? If they are a 0 offset, then they should be fine.

I've got 20x9 on my EF, 245/30/20 on the front, 245/35/20 on the rear.
38mm adapters, not sure on the offset of the wheels.

but they all scrub on the guards.

all comes down to the height/camber and offset.

i had no trouble on 20's on my old ef fairmont.

8.5 inch fronts bolted onto hub adapters.
tyres were 225/35/20.. also used 225/30/20's..

lipped the guards still due to dumpage..

If they clear the upright, they should be fine with rolled guards. I assume they are a +6 20x8.5

I know your set on 20's, but it would make more sense to go even 18's because unless your buying super light weight 20's your going to be adding excess weight to the car and slowing it down. Depends on what you want I suppose, looks or power.

That makes sense, I stand corrected. Wonder what it would look like with 13's on it? Like a Tractor on bike tyres lol
