It wont be the rim size that will be the determining factor, it would be thee width and offset.
But it should be fairly do-able.

Hmmm i'm getting e-series offset and will be running 235's. Basically the width i have on the car now.
So your saying i shouldnt in theory have problems, but i should get the gaurds rolled just in case, as a precaution?

I would definately get the guards rolled/lipped, if going 18's or bigger and superlows or lower.
The lower control arm ball joint thing is another item to worry about as well as where the tyres sits in relation to the guards.

As said before prolly best to roll the guards unless you wanna replace them every 2 weeks. Should look mint though.

Well they are on and absolutely no scrubbing has occured. Ive check clearnces at full lock, and also at full lock going down a gutter (minimal scrubbing just like the 17's) At the moment the car is actually sitting higher giving it more clearnce from the tyre to the gaurd the tyre is not under the gaurd anymore, sits just belowish it.
But will still look into it.
