i am currently running michelin pilot sports 225/55/16 on my rims and they are need of replacment soon. would 225/45/16's be too low of a profile? or am i worrying for nothing. car is lowered with superlows all around.

My AU has stock XR6 16" rims, That's the standard tyre size on them. Why are you worried about 45's being too low? Ride factor? There's still plenty of rubber on a 45, it's only a cm less than your current rubber...

yeah i know the size 225/50/16. however i can get a brand new set of tyres for a ridiculously low price that are 225/45/16.

the rolling radius will be under size and the load rating will most likely be to low aswell.
