The drivers side door has closed and wont open. This is after i have put a new hndle on the outside. Is this because I didnt put the "clasp" Low enough on the lock rod? Is there any tricks to opening the door? Any help appreciated!

Welcome to fordmods.

If you can open the door from inside, then do so. Remove the door card then close the door and look at the way the handle behaves when opening the door. This will tell you where and how high up to attach the rod. Is it a front or rear door, as the safety lock may be on on the rear and then you have some problems.

Always when playing with handles either inside or outside leave the door card off and check functionality before final reassembly.
This thread should also be in the exterior mods section.

Cheers and goodluck
Brett
