Im in west sydney thanks Aftermarket bonnets are about $100. You would need to put up pics for anyone to be able to guestimate the rest

nah hail damage wont put holes in ur roof, you would probably be able to drive it for years with hail damage, unless of course it was the size of apples and had window smashing power etc lol

As the job is not an easy one and if you are asking these questions then forget doing it yourself as the results may be worse than the dents. Generally the cost of hail repair on a 10+ year car would see it written off but you might be able to find a backyarder or apprentice that is willing to make some money on the side.

Nah I dont believe that - i think it's just a matter of sanding it off and then repaint and add clear

its true, if i took my EL Ghia down to the crash shop tomorrow covered in hail dents on every panel, they would most likely write it off, as it would need a full respray which almost covers the cost of what the cars worth before any repairs at all.
and to repair hail damage on every panel would take ages.

look mate if it costs $10k to repair the hail - thats no issue with me and its only a few spots on the bonnet and the roof - the whole paint work is new. but im looking for instructions on how to fix it - if a crash shop tech says he'll write it off - i'll write him off

Mate, you are obviously only interested in hearing the answer you want to hear. So im not sure if a forum like this is for you, because you arnt going to get the answer you want. Nor are you going to get it from a panel beater.
Theres a reason why cars get written off for minor hail damage, because there simply isnt a cheap fix. So go ahead and sand away, 180 grit paper should be fine. For touch up, go to you local hardware store and get them to match the cars colour, use something like solarguard, as it'll last 10 years. A brush or roller will be fine to apply the paint.

Seriously though, panel beting is a real C*** of a thing, nothing f**k cheap, lets start with you need a big enough comprressor witha decent dryier, atleast a coupler of those water filter for spraying. your going to be spendng a few hundred minumun on supplies, paint primer etc. Ifyou want a more accurate atleast throw up photos. I've been very overwhelmed by the job on mine and it's just a rear quarter. and effectively I do similar work , minus powdercoat vs wetspray. are you worried about the finish or just the rust?
