has any one had a problem fitting a set of 19x8 5p rims to a el, the rears are fine but the front touch the top suspension part, a 5mm spacer would let it run clear but i didnt want to use them, any help or ideas would be great, at the moment it has a set of 16x8 ftrs on and they fit perfect (obviously)
cheers leigh i didnt mention ive only fitted the rims to check clearances, no tyres fitted so im not sure how much extra space ill need for tyres as well

That's odd I have 19" typhoon rims and they fit, pretty sure they are 19x8 too

P5 is your offset, aka, Positive 5mm, aka close to AU+ Offset

+au offset is +35 offset
Most Ford Copy Rims are +6 offset and they fit so I am unsure why +5 offset doesn't fit E-Series offset is 0 offset Rears will always fit

i thought the e series (and x) where 0mm offset so a p5 would be right and the au2 on where p35 offset, if these are au2+ rims i wont use hub adaptors because my wife and kids use the car as a daily, what options are there for fitting without the use of hub spacers?

Just had a brief look on the Advanti Website - P5 is not the offset is it? It's part of the model name of the rim?
What does the offest number say on the inner of the rim, it will say 19x8 and also have a number somewhere, usually on the inside of the spokes

My bad, wrong way around, Usually the wheels we get in at work are Px meaning Postive. My VE GTS's are P6, or Positive 6
