I got given some Turtlewax "Ice" products for my birthday so I thought i would give a couple of them a try to see if they lived up the the hype. I first washed and chamois dried the car thoroughly then used the "liquid clay bar" following all instructions correctly, then rinsed off and chamois dried as per the instructions. I ran my hand across the paintwork and it felt dry, almost as if i was running my hand across fine grit sandpaper with some areas like the boot and spoiler worse than the other areas. I rang turtlewax and they said this was normal and to polish the car and the dry feeling would disappear and feel smooth "like glass". After polishing the car the dry feeling as i run my hand across the paintwork feels just as bad perhaps even worse. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas or recommendations of other products that could solve this?
Any help greatly appreciated. Will.

Ditto on the Meguiars... I use the 3 step, 1. paint cleaner on the areas that have slight scratches and blemishes, then 2. polish, 3. wax... It you wana use a better wax, use the one 67RCE recommended... It's s**t hot! The only reason I don't use that one is because I wash and clean my car regularly and the clay is a longer process!
