Bog stock Series 1 AU Forte has the lowest drag coefficient of any Falcon produced.

Nah... It was actually the XD series. The euro look gave it the best coefficient ever.

err xd.... f'sure.....

the pre-reslease non-badged ea clay model actually won awards in europe for styling and aerodynamics, amongst mercedes' audis and other cars out of it's class. it was one of the most aerodynamically advanced full size sedans available at the time, which kind of trashes the xd idea... not to mention, have you seen many xd's ? a cardboard box would almost be more efficient. xf maybe but not xd i won't have a bar of it.

although i agree with the bog stock au rating the aesthetic equivilant of a dropped meat pie.

I have seen many XD's. Obviously you havent!!!

Those f**k kill my Force 6 in a straight line, which in turn rip s**t through my poor EL. Seeing as they had nothing else really going for them, it MUST be their aerodynamic advantage.

I suggest you do some more research before "err-ing" any of my posts!

yer because the performance of your previous personal cars against other unknown values must be more reliable than published information... f'sure...

sorry to doubt the almighty i retract any previous information i added from reliable sources and replace with arm79s, i'm not worthy.

i will forever more be silent due to your superior intelligence quoting things like 'do your research' i find it hard to do my own research when your own personal experience superceeds the truth....

Sorry mate... Just being a d**k..

I figured another one this this blokes dumb a** posts deserved a dumb a** answer. But I got bored quickly

Course the AU Forte wins. From memory the Cd figure was .295, or .30 as the more commonly rounded figure, making it the best of the lot. Next was the EF GLi with .31 I think and the EF/EL Fairmonts with .33.

xd's are about as aerodynamic as the side of a shed.

EL or AU

ryda's ironic statement and sarcasm detectors are currently offline :P

EL had a higher drag CE than EF fifty, due to the enclosed front end.

at least the AU wins at something :)

hooray for AU's.

In all seriousness, what about the EB GT? Wasn't the bodykit etc. on it developed in the UK using wind tunnels or what not?
