hey how have you got them hooked up? i've got some Hella FF-50 Comets in my brake duct vents - to a toggle switch just below the steering column, wired to an LED to let me know when they are on!

lookn' good though! i reckon the drive lights really work well with the EF/EL's!

They are hooked up to come on with the parking lights, no kill switch as yet as I haven't found a good place for a switch.

Fairly easy to do. I tapped into the parking light wire at plug behind the headlight, used that for the signal wire for a 30amp relay. Then tapped into a large 12V+ wire near the air box for the supply.

A workshop wiring diagram will help identify the correct wires, or you could just use a voltmeter.

That looks very sexy !
Must say that is the FIRST non Fairlane Lights fitted to an EF/EL Fairmont that looks factory !

Did you simply cut the bar thing out of the Fairmont Ducts. Or is there a bit of fibreglass work there too ?

Methinks Im gonna have to have a go at this mod... That looks very sexy !!! (Plus the Huge 21Watts of Conrering Lamps are as weak as piss !)

Yeah I cut out the centre bar and fibreglassed the ends, finshed it of with just a little bit of bog! Then had a mate paint them up for me.

the lights on the ef's just went backwards since the ed. I got sick of crappy lights so i just made a bracket out of aluminium above the number plate and mounted 2 Hella Ralye 1000 Driving lights on it. Now i can at least see 600m in front of me at night. :D
