Does any one know if EF\EL XR kits are available aftermarket (plastic or glass)? If not, Why?
I have seen ones with XR top (lights ect) but had an ugly lower section from companies like SSV and the like.
I have also seen GLI and Fairmont aftermarket bars in plastic (I can get them at work)
I just want a factory style XR kit without the rediculous price..

Why is it that Bommodores have a million SS & HSV kits and we have jack?

Ive seen fiberglass XR front bars with the typhoon bottom on eBay. With matching rear bar and skirts .
There's one on eBay now but it's for an AU.

Scratch that , there is one on there for el. It's $700

I wouldnt put one of those on my coon if someone payed me!!! haha...
I think later model kits on earlier cars just doesnt look good at all.. plus its what commo drivers love to do!!!

Dont let me see that s**t on your XR, I will kill ya!

agreed how stupid it is that you can only buy an aftermarket EL XR front as long as your happy with a full sick racing bumper moulded into it

a stock XR replacement would be cheaper to make, and would be alot more popular to people who bought a gli/futura/fairmont and secretly wished it was an XR :)

I won't be putting it on my xr6. I was having thoughts but then agreed with u that the later model body kits don't look good on earlier car.
As u said it's what commo drivers do.
Reason I was thinking of doing it cos I wanted my xr6 to stand out a bit more. But I think it already does. I must be getting used to the way it looks . 8-)

Sorry pal, I didnt see your post there..

I am just wondering if there is a reason no one does it.. maybe because you require lights aswell?
