Hi all,
Just for something different, I've been looking for alternatives to XR6 lights for me EL.. Now I have the XR front bar, and need to fill the four headlight holes with something.. I was thinking of these... They are lights from a 98 - 01 Honda Integra.. and they look to be roughly the right size and distance apart... Can anyone think of any other alternatives? I had a look at early BMW, but all the ones I saw were 5 1/4 inch.. not 4 inches like the xr6's... The honda ones seem like a good idea as they are from a more modern car and adjustment would be one piece per side... but there are bound to be more options, I just don't know what they are.... thoughts? |

These ones were 195 for a pair... new, which is a good bit less than second hand xr lights go for on ebay. |

I'm looking at picking up a cheap set of second hand ones first.. will use them for trial fitting etc first..
once I am satisfied they'll fit, I'll get the good ones.. |

I used after market civic lights in my eb. See gallery. There actually fixed into the hole rather than bolted to the body, but still have the adjustment as the lights sit in a shell and the shell is fixed to the front bar.

Im 98% sure it was a 99-00.
Ebay jobbies at $99 They work surprisingly well too, low beam is great high beam could leave a little to be desired though. I just cut the rest of the headlight away and used the tubes that the light sits in. Here i found the link. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Honda-EK-Civic-2 ... 240%3A1318 There are about 4.5 inches and the hole in the falcon is 5in from memory. i used rubber to fill the gap. Word of warning if you f**k it up or don't fit them right don't come blaming me

half the price of the integra ones...
Are the lights inside that housing actual glass globes? sealed beam or replaceable? |
