The unit must be stamped with an Aus Standards marking 2. The globes must light up with the correct colours. So, as long as these are aus standards certified, they're fair game. ok just spoke to our supplier and these DO NOT meet current ADR's !!!!!!! we have cancelled all of our order with the supplier as we dont want people getting fined for a product weve sold , we will fullfil the orders we allready have , or offer a full refund , its your choice but BE WARNED that they DO NOT meet ADR's, as far as i can tell if you stick a red reflector on either side they are then OK but im not going to guarantee them , it is purely your decision if you have any questions please contact me. THIS IS OUR DECISION ON THESE LIGHTS , IT MAY OR MAY NOT BE CORRECT AS WE ARE TOLD DIFFERENT THINGS! THE DECISION IS YOURS, WE ARE SELLING THEM FOR OFF ROAD/SHOW USE ONLY!!! Darren 03 9758 6900 Very true for Victoria Darren, i just spoke to you guys a second ago so you will be able to confirm that they are legal for NSW but not for VIC. Cheers.

Surely these things should comply to AUSTRALIAN Design Rules, not that of individual States. Sooner we get a single standard across the country, the better.

Yeah the Australian is the standard the thing is that some states dont believe the standard is'high' enough. Take for example if you are atraffic controller the Australian Standard is that you wear Steel Capped boots and a flouro vest with reflective tape is you work at night... Now the RTA set guidelines (which most of the very large companies follow ) and their standard is that at night on top of the flouor shirt a traffic controller wear full whit with reflective bands on the legs etc etc, and Be lit up at whatever position they stand and have a red flashing wand. |

i dont like them much, but it is good to see parts companies looking at our ef/el cars for their products, who know may be a real clear taillight might come out.
im impartial, i think that they would look good on a properly done car (proray??), but look out of place on a stock (apperance) car. |

i think they suit the darker coloured cars more so than lighter ones.
ud think that these would have cost a considerable amount of money to tool up, for that sake u would have hoped they would make them more than just clear versions of the stock lights.

Um the ones you described are the ones that look cheesy as hell. That is, if by your comments you mean like the sort the Commodore's have. {USERNAME} wrote: {USERNAME} wrote: I wouldnt use them if they were given to me, they look disgusting, I was hoping that they would have the coloured ball things inside like red, orange ect but its just plane silvery... i would hate for them to be too red orange chrome black ect.. but its just too plane ricey!! clear atleast isnt too try hard.. ball things?? what tha? would hate to be those guys who bought them before they were seen...
