Hey, I never thought about that. Even though the EB doesnt have round lenses, it can still have angel eyes :D

Or i could go for them in my spotties

that look sooo ricey, pathetic even. "i so wanna be like a bmw driver but all i got is this crappy old VL"

If you want to make some money from using leds, how about focusing your attention to something we have been chatting about and wanting for a while, LED tail lights like the bmw's.

Not just a replacement globe, but a full matrix led system that fills the whole lense.

Sorry, just my 2 cents

yeah i coluld make them,
but how far apart would you want the leds, les would be about $1.75 each for white, and could get red alot cheaper also orange i dont know i ll go to jay car and find out, if you really want this to be done i will do it for you, cost of parts plus $60 and i wil need atleast one tail light to get tthe size of the pcb i need, i wouldnt do a halve assed job i would do it to the best of my abilits but iy should be pretty easy to do just alot of time mounting them and making sure they are stight i know how to do it and alot of wiring, im still deciding what type of circuit to use, probly 4 leds grouped in series and do that for all of them, if i went parrael would need alot of resisters but resisters are cheap
but hey the offer is there if you wan tme to do it for you, its up to you

I have an idea in my head of how the led tail lights should be, but physically getting it to work is another thing. Like you were saying getting themounting correctly and getting the wiring to work properly is another thing. The indicator is easy, but the stop tail i was thinking of running 10 rows or 10 leds, 4 rows being for park lamps and the remaining 6 for the brake lights. Using different intensity leds for the 2 would be an idea too, that way you would see a noticable difference between park and brake.

I think the easiest thing would be to cut the back reflector off a tail light within the sealed area to get maximum room to play with.

Let me know if you think this is possible

I guess it would depend on how much of an opening you can get behind the lamp, while keeping the unit sealed. as a guess 10 rows of 10 leds would be ok with the horizontal leds spaced out and the rows close together, once a pcb size can be worked out i guess you can put as many or as little as you want
