As the title says, has anyone done it? And could you post pics? How does it look for those that have seen it?

I just remembered the EA-ED are a little different, going from that pic it wouldnt suit EF-EL as the horizontal window rubber is also part of the 1/4 window trim.

On EA-ED its seperate and may look better?
Not sure why they changed it on later models though because it never looks right with that join so obvious.

All I can think of is that on EA-ED the rear door window rubber never really sits properly at the end of the door.

Ive thought about painting it black, but I reckon it would stand out too much as there really isnt any other black painted area on the car. The window rubbers arnt really a full black (and after a while the sun fades the rubber and it turns a grey)

Ive looked at getting dark grey spray paint but you cant get it.

Black semi-gloss would be ok, as that's what it should be. And yeah on an EF/EL you'd have to paint ALOT to get it to 'sorta' blend in.

When I'm not so lazy I'll be 're-blacking' mine.
