Nah he means pics of the actual bonnet without the vents actually installed so that he can see the cutouts etc.

No, I mean an XR bonnet with the vents removed, hence why I asked about the holes. If you remove teh vent (unbolt it), then there's a hole.

i'm sure some XR's didn't come with bonnet vents - i've seen and original xr6 ute, has no vents. could be a ute thing though....

You are correct, the utes did not come with the vents, but they are not EF or EL's, they are XH.
All EF (both sedan and wagons) and EL (only sedans) XR's came with the vents, unless they had the dealer specificalyl remove them before delivery, or have been removed in the cars life since tehn.

my xr6 bonnet is different to my dads gli bonnet, the gli bonnet kinda has a bulge, while mine is flat, mine looks heaps better flat that if it had the kind of bulge.

dunno if this picture helps but yeh its been modified i think, its got different vents in the front of it like monaro ones, it looks heaps better than the original xr vents.

I'm not sure, definately not at the moment, but since I do have a set of the genuine EF Ford/Tickford?XR vents sitting here I'm still interested in how they fit.

Some guy on FordForums has done it but:
