well i could prolly do the whole car for $60 including paint.. what colour were u thinking? i will have to goto the hardware store and get a 4l tin and a new paint roller

I looked at geting my car resprayed I was looking at 6k for the outside only to 8k plus for a full respray in the same colour. That was from good shops in my area.

I can do you a cheap respray and I have a mate who will do you a cheap engine and we can get rid of your custom interior and put a cheap one in
Then you will have an EL that looks goes and feels like a cheap heap of s**t

yeah if you dont have to go back to bare metal its cheaper, not sure by how much though....haha whoever said 4k- 10k, they go up a lot more...bare metal respray of my old oldman's 48 mercury coupe was a bit over $20k, and that was just metallic maroon colour, although it probably is the best i've seen Image

yea its white i just want it to look better, i dont need the engine bay and inside of the doors done, dont want a s**t job just want to do it as cheap as i can i dont want to get ripped off.

10K for a quality job on a newer car is about right, keep in mind the 20k that was spent on your old mans car probably went into rust repairs etc that you would normally find with a 55+ year old car

Let me know more info, I have a guy out Penrith way that does good work at a very good price. $2k or under depending how much work you want to do before hand and as long as there is no bodywork.
