Hey guys
i want to know if anyone can give me a rough idea of how much a reputable shop would generally cost to paint.
The bonnet in question is a Fibreglass XR8 bulge bonnet in gel coat, want top and bottom painted
the bumper is a BF GT bumper which is bare plastic (it is the one sold by ssv http://ssv.com.au/product.php?1799 )
i want the fog light surrounds painted gunmetal gray, as well as the centre mouth at the bottom
like this but with the lights gray instead most likely
(this car is one of the big influences towards the GT bar)
this is phil545's car

lol thanks mate! just to clarify the ssv gt front bar is fibreglass not plastic so there is more friggin around with getting it to look smick, alot of panel beaters will want to see the bar before giving a quote. also your bonnet, you didnt want to get the steel one from ssv for $640? that what i got on and fits perfectly, i have heard issues with the fibreglass bonnets around how the gas struts fit onto them and them lasting. Might be best to speak to ford freak as i think his is glass but doesn't seem to have any issues with it

i think ill see how i go with the fibreglass bonnet, if i have any trouble ill just replace it with a steel one. Thanks for the warning
also thanks for letting me know about the bumper, i must have been remembering one of the other products which is made of similar stuff to the factory plastic.
