Just wondering why Tickford put the vents on the EF/EL XR's were they did? like right up the front? from the pictures it looks like they'd be over the battery on the driver side and the air box on the passengers.
would it of been better if the drivers side on was over the exhaust manifold and coolant bottle were the heat is?

IMO even if they were more functional than ehy really are, i'd guess thier positioning is more to relieve underbonnet pressure immediately behind the radiator..... besides, IMO they'd look wierd further up the bonnet

plus they assist in cooling the battery ... ? no yeah well you come up with a better reason then! :P
