hi i cant stand the small ef mirror anymore and since my car is stuck at home i was wondering if anyone can tell me how i would go about putting au or ba or even fg mirrors into my fairmont i dont really care about the elecs at the moment i will do them later just mounting i am stuck on is there anyway to mount au ba fg mirrror onto ef mirror mount or mod the mount on the mirror to fit the ef door as i want a mirror i can see out of also

going of topic how do i reset the airbag light as my airbag has never deployed i started it one day and it wouldnt go off so i took no notice and left it but its annoying at night when it flashes and is there anyway to make an au or ba even fg front end fit the ef

I have actually seen an XH ute with a BA front end on it, looked pretty good too. So I guess it can be done... but don't ask me how. :)
Mind you I'm not sure how you'd get the AU-BA front to tie in with the curves of the EF/L sedans a** end, might be worth playing about with photo-shop 1st?

The Ute I saw had the whole BA front on it: Bar, bonnet, guards and lights, I have a picture of it somewhere. I'll see if I can dig it up.

The wiring will need modifying and I'm not 100% sure about the differences on how the mirrors themselves are mounted.

fg mirrors are loaded full of goodies like temp sensors and indicators in the high series. ba/bf mirrors are the same as au apparently so perhaps try fitting one of them
