Theres not really a good set up for pod induction unless you get a custom pipe from you're induction and throw it down out the headlight,

For more HP you're best of getting a airhog or K&N panel filter, enclosing it in you're airbox and run a ss cold air induction.
Pods add little power to you're car unless you wacked a turbo on there.

Pods can withstand heat from the engine but when you have a panel on the car with an airbox.. you'r car will run much better with better performance.

I had my car on the dyno before I "first added" a pod and flash tuner.
It was at 191kw

I took of the pod the added my flash tuner and the car ran at 201kw.
Since the VCT is a twim cam, You will notice the difference.

i probably wouldn't modify the bonnet but do as xrsixer says and run a good panel filter, also change the piping with the ba one and you'll get slightly better response.theres no great way on getting big power out of intake mods unless you go the whole shebang and do intake man and stuff.

Looks similar to the bonnet on the CV8Z Monaro. Not a fan on the Ford personally.

Nope, and how did you get a 191 &201kw figure on a dyno, because that would have to be the flywheel power, sure you arent mistaking hp for kw

first thing i've talked to professionals ie RPD and they do not recomend any ss cold air inductions as they reckon it will give you f**k all for the money which other profesionals have agreed.

Secondly you are wrong with the pod. Pods can't with stand heat as much as a panel. Unless the pod is boxed then its a different story. If you can get cold air to that pod and keep the hot air out it will work better, but this is hard.

Thirdly i know the pod is not going to add much power but it will improve midrange performance not by a great deal but noticably different (not to mention the wicked induction growl!!) Like i said mate in my first post i've got my mind made up on the pod, so don't turn this into another f**k thread of pod v panel cause i'm pretty sure everyone has heard it before
