One lower boot strut anchor ball has just broken away from my 99 AU bodywork. When this car was new, both of these anchor balls showed superficial rust, and the detached ball seems to show that rust contributed to the fracture. There is NO rust anywhere else in the car.

Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Buy a new one and put it in, the original has lasted 7 years.
