Is it possible to replace the electric aerial in an AU Futura with a standard manual one? You may be asking as to why I want to do this? Because , I don't like the idea of an electric one winding itself all the way up and over time, the top of the aerial is bent by wind speed.
Any suggestions would be a great help. Any no, a coathanger in the shape of Australia is not a option (yet) Thanks in adavance, Peter - Holocaust

Are you sure the top has been bent by wind!!?? Or maybe by low overhanging branches.
A manual one will have the same problem if its left up all the way, plus the risk of some tosser damaging it in a carpark. Anyway to answer your question, yes a manual one can be installed in its place.
