yes it is possible but VERY VERY expensive. it's not jsut panel changing to get the front to look like an BA. your better off buying a BA it is cheaper

why? It just looks exactly like a BA wagon from the outside now.. BA and AU wagon rear styling is virtually identical.

The windscreen shape is totally different ... he had the option at the time to put the BA front on ... and found it was a lot harder than he thought.
Someone else have done this to a ute as well on the www.fordforums.com.au site in the AUFalcon section ... this conversion was done after an engine bay fire and front panels were destroyed ... there's a step by step walkthrough on what was done with pics as well.

I'm pretty sure it was only BA sedans they changed the windscreens on. The wagons and utes still have the "curved edge" style windscreens, and the BA sedans have the more "squared off" edge one. |

A mate of mine put a BA front on an XD ute. For those who were at easternats this year, may have seen it. Its got Jeff Wignall Ford group stickers down the side as well as Forte Body Styling. He's done an awsome job. The ute has been in a few magazines......

"not much effort"? It was a complete design change to the E series. ford are doing exactly what they did with the E series, i.e. utilising the wagon shape they have like they did from EA-EL. |
