Hullo,
Sorry for the thread I'm sure someone's already made half a dozen times  , but I swear I've used the search and found nothing of help.

I have dug out a few of those AU series III clear indicators from back when I had an AU and am planning on selling them, however I just want to find out (so I can use the info to promote them) if they will fit an EF/EL Falcon (or anything else for that matter).

I have been told by several people that they definitely will fit without any problem on the EF/EL Falcon, but not the NL/NF Fairlane or EF/EL Fairmont because of the plastic mould around it.

Could anyone here who knows about this and/or has done it please confirm this? I don't want to falsely say in a listing that it will fit an EF/EL if it won't! :(

Also, could they fit any other E-series?

Many thanks!

with a slight mod they will fit into ea-ed. havent seen them fitted to ef, el's.
think the instructions are in the tech doco's up top under resources.
even people with base model au's may want them as they originally had orange ones.

Yes to EA-ED with slight mod.

No to EF-EL as the shape is all wrong.

Ahh damn. That both exactly what I wanted to know and what I didn't want to hear... 8-)

Thanks, though. At least I know now. So it isn't possible to even modify it to fit an EF/EL? I could have sworn that I had seen someone on either this forum or fordmods (actually I'm thinking both) who had done it... :(

I have seen it done, but it looks awful and wrong.

Ah, I see. Oh well... I guess AU owners might still want them, I certainly haven't seen any AUs other than a couple of taxis around here with the clear indicators...
