I beleive the high beam globe in au2 forte head lights is H1. It will list it in your manual.

If its the large standard AU lights its H1. Should list somewhere on the light itself as well.

AU = H4-low beam, H1-high beam

Correct ... I recently got the aftermarket headlights of Ozeparts for AU ... I have the HID H4s ... and the Halogen H1s

HID H4s?

Do you mean the illegal and dangerous conversion to fit HID projectors in place of H4 globes, or just blue tinted H4 globes?

JSM HID H4 hi/lo kit.
complete with ballasts, wiring harness, gas discharge globes, extra relays ... plug n play into existing wiring harness.

It would be better if I did have them behind a projector lense ... but modifiying a headlight is kinda difficult.

They work so much better than halogens (6000K colour temp) ... and are perfect for where I have moved out to ... cos it's damn dark at night and early mornings when i am on the road.

about 3 times brighter than halogen ... and so much more coverage on the road ... I have them aimed down so they are not annoying.
