gday all - just been thinking about putting an xr front on the car. its an ex-cop au2 v8 and the clear coat is coming off the roof above the drivers door (i assume where the cops used to reach out and stick their flashing light on the roof) so it needs to be repainted before it gets much worse. the bonnet has a bit of rust so i was thinking i could get a new bonnet and repaint that while i'm at it, then i thought well i could put on an xr front too and get it all painted at the same time. so...
1. how much would a conversion usually cost?
2. is there any place that usually has supply or is it just a case of chasing wreckers and keeping an eye on the classifieds and forums?

thanks
Geoff

you need:
lights, loom, bonnet, bonnet latch, indicators and bar. FTG should be able to help. For the lights, theres a guy on fordforums.com.au called "the dok", he can get you new XR headlights at a good price.
