just received a set of "Autotecnica H4 12V 60/55W Opti Blue High Intensity Luminosity Gas filled bulbs"

i was originally going to buy either the phillips arctic blue or the narva versions

what are people experiences with these compared to the phillips/narva?

cheers

Daniel

Autotechnica stuff is generally imported made in chinky land and often kinda cheapish. Sometimes they have some really nice stuf though.

Just be careful with the blue bulbs, both myself and a mate burnt out our wiring harness using the cheaper ones.

The bulbs are well crap. Seriously for the price a set of phillips buls costs and extra $100-150 you might as well get the kit and its alot more to it and a hell of alot better

Be careful with the lights though, HID's as far as Im aware are still not legal in Australia and even in WA where according to Perth Street car undercar Neons are legal now, Irridecent blue lights are still illegal, True blue lights as found in the new Beemers and Hondas are legal but ther are still still limits on the luminosity allowed. IE, the level of light produced.
