Hey scotty have you pop riveted or screwed it down on the front and rear lips at all to hold it down? In the pic it just looks like you have, if so I take you'll pull them out after the sikaflex dries??

Yeah screwed down 3 in the front and 2 at the back to hold it in place while everything dries. It should stay in place with the sikaflex, but I don't wanna chance it. After I've fibreglassed the top, I'll remove the bonnet then see if I can fibreglass it at all at the bottom too - just for extra strength. And paint the underside of the bonnet black as the white gets far too dirty. And then I'll remove the screws. |

Sorry to steal but here is an idea of what it should look like done
Bulge from edxrsw Great bloke Fraser. You should have enuf space to do the bottom with glass i had plenty of room eh Enjoy the sanding buddy theres fkn heaps of it to do Now i gotta get off my butt n sand the car back for the respray....... Keep us posted |

Yeah I sanded for an hour last night and didn't make much difference. Got some more resin and that to finish it off. But I worked all day today so I'll leave it for tomorrow...

Not knocking your work, it looks good, but i can see exactly where its been grafted, has it been smoothed properly? Or is it just the pictures?

Pics and a bit of really dodgy paintwork In a couple of weeks i will have it painted properly will take some pics with a good camera n u will see the difference Its smooth as a babys bottom all the way round.

Yeah took a bit of mucking around but i got it on there. Found some flexi body filler and its solved all the problems. Now just gotta wait till i get my compressor.
