I'm buzzing right now, I dunno if it was the noise or the sparks from the angel grinder or what!
Anyways, I woke up this morning and here's what I've been up to for the last few hours on my first day of 4 months of holidays!!!

Then I'm going to fibreglass it in place and do lotsa sanding! Stay tuned for more... Going to have breakfast now then I'll get back into it! O, and I better give EDXRSW a plug, as he supplied the bulge - $100.00 plus postage (s**t load cheaper than AWC)!!! |

No doubt when it's finished it will look great but i must say i seen an el last week with a xb gt bonnet fitted and it looked superb thats what i want.

no i don't it was next to me at the lights,i have also seen a hz ute getting around my area with the same bonnet and that looks cool aswell.

I havn't figured out yet how they go in... No one on here of FordForums has replied to my threads about tehm either!!! I'm considering possibly fitting them next to the bulge, I dunno I'm iffy about it.... Some guy on FordForums has done it:

After I've fibreglassed it in place, on the top, and tehn when I remove the bonnet to paint I'll fibreglass it in place underneath to, after that I'll remove the screws as they look tacky.[/img] |

looking good - also its good to see you have cut the bonnet out instead of just putting it ontop!! it comes out smoother if you do it the way your doing it - also you should add some air vents at the back of the bulge instead of the xr ones - just a suggestion!!

thanks for the plug scotty, thats going to look great.
just make sure you fibreglass back over the top join between the bulge and the steel bonnet otherwize your filler will crack. EDXRSW. |

I've actually fibreglassed the sides now, but run out of resin! Got a s**t load of sanding to do now but! Does fibreglass corode/rust steel? |
