does anyone know what kind of bulb goes in the fog light in a late BA/early BFs? or what kind i will need to put in make them bright white/blue

They use H3 globes. Dont get any higher than 55w.

I reckon HID's too, jaycar do them in H3. Those special blue ones keep blowing on me aye, they never seem to last longer than about two-three months.

i pulled the globes out 2day and they were H11s. so went and asked for brighter ones and they suggested the Phillips Diamondvision. but they dont stock them coz their illegal so i found sum on ebay. should be fine for what i use them for.
