Those with the bonnet buldge on pre BA cars can i see what the view from the drivers seat looks like. Just want to know if it is like the BA XR8 or not.

EAcruiser: I have sat in the car with the bonnet bulge in place and compared to BA XR8 it looks the same, meaning you cant see over it haha  . It has been noted and ill take a snapshot for you.

TerroristGhias car is sex on wheels, and its got a big donk to match the looks! Love those bonnet stripes too.

That XR with the bulge looks great, would look better minus the vents, but with the Fairmonts they already have those creases (or raised section) in the bonnet which emphasises the BA bulge alot more IMO.

Im going to the spraypainters either today or tomorrow to grab some progress photos, ill post 'em up for you to look at!

Kut&shutkustomz: Here is the photo i presume you wanted to have a look at? Hope thats what you wanted.

I sat in Terrorist GHIA's car on the hoist testing the transmission after it was refitted ... and I remember looking at the bonnet ... but really didn't notice the bulge that much ... it can be seen ... but it doesn't stick out like dogs balls though.

Cool, i was beginning to wonder about the legality of your chosen career path haha! About the edge of the bulge, it has a fair lip on it to stick it to the bonnet, you would have to squidge a fair bit of sikaflex in there to get it to hold i reckon.

I didnt get the chance to go to the spraypainters today, but i have a half day at work tomorrow, so ill head 'round there afterward and take some happy snaps (hopefully).

That is correct, i think the bloke is going to grind a bit out of the bonnet so the bulge sits into it a bit more (not alot more though), then bog over the lines and sand it down. Hopefully it turns out like the above XR8...hopefully...im paranoid haha! Serious stuff this, its not just a stick on and paint thing!
