G'day guys, long time no post. Thought you might be interested that i have ordered and will have fitted on Monday, a BA bonnet bulge (courtesy of AWC) to my Fairmont. Yes it is a six cylinder and im putting it on purely for looks, not function. Here are a couple of crappy camera phone pictures with the bulge sitting on the bonnet. What do you reckon? I will try to post up some [better quality] progress shots (the spraypainter is a long way from me so it may not be possible but ill try)

Be good to see it cruising around! And to think you were considering selling the beast!

G'day guys, yeah the bulge was from AWC ( www.awcinfo.com ), was $180 plus $30 postage, it only took 4 days from when i placed the order to get to my doorstep (well done guys!). Im having it put on and painted at a one man band called Custom Image, thats why it will take 4-5 days to complete. Id rather he took his time anyway.

Southy: I have to leave the car there so Gary can blend the paint on the bonnet to the paint on the guards.

Should look pretty good. Definately looks better on a EF or EL compared to an EA, EB or ED.
