might seem a stupid question but i need to take my back bumper off so i can remove thee tow bar .. i can see the screews and stuff in back wheel arch wat els do i have to remove are there fastenings inside boot i have to undo thanx

Theres a loom inside the boot for the towbar to remove if you want the wiring gone. Pretty much just undo the rear inner guars, pull at the side of the bumper bar 1 side at a time and it should come off. BTW lay a towel or something down so the bumper doesn't drop on the ground and scratch. Then all you have to do is undo a few bolts behind the bar and the towbar will come off. The bolts will be very hard to undo though as the hole has no thread when the bolt goes in. Ford dealers just crossthread the bolt with a rattle gun the whole way in to get it to be tight.

hard is a understatement ... i had to hax saw the bracket where the tow bar bracket is near the muffler , then i could get in there with a hax saw and cut the washer so it would come loose..... wat a p**s off

No worries. Those bolts are very hard to undo without a rattle gun.
